Our first gallery show featured art from the foster children of Great Oaks Village who participated in ArtWorks, a program offered by St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. The program gives struggling children a way to feel successful and gain positive recognition. The children created the pieces as an artistic expression of their feelings.

The team at Appleton Creative and owner Diana LaRue have been involved with these children for almost four years by assisting in art classes, mentoring and having career days with them. Getting to know these children has been a privilege to all involved. If you are interested in learning more about Artworks or Great Oaks Village, please contact an Appleton team member.
