The current exhibit features artwork created by child burn survivors and their burn buddies during an art class hosted by Appleton Creative at Camp Tequesta in November 2016. To express their thoughts, feelings and emotions, the young burn survivors and their buddies created beautiful pieces through a variety of mediums and techniques, including canvas paintings, digital art and intricate mandalas. In accordance with the Children’s Burn Foundation of Florida, this gallery’s goal is to raise awareness of childhood burn injuries and address the needs of young burn survivors.
